Located in Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania, UAB Trantera is a well-known name in the construction business throughout the Baltic region. It was founded in 2008 and has grown to approximately 50 employees and 20 external business partners. From loaders, excavators, pavers to trucks, transport services, crushing & screening equipment – they have it all. One segment in their versatile renting fleet that has been partially missing is the mobile crushers.
This is where the partnership story between Trantera and Rockster begins. The owner, Aleksandr Lavrinovic contacted Rockster at the beginning of 2024 and in March, the R700 tracked Rockster impactor has been delivered and put to test in Vilnius.
Rockster impact crusher R700 with a closed-loop screening system crushing river rock in Vilnius, Lithuania at a rate of ca. 1000t per day.
As the most compact Rockster tracked impact crusher, the R700 has been acquired by Trantera primarily to expand the renting business throughout the Baltic states. On the other hand, it is also used in one of their own quarries to process river rock.
The R700 is engineered to deliver powerful crushing performance across a variety of materials. Whether dealing with concrete, asphalt, or natural stone, the R700 processes them efficiently, ensuring high-quality output and consistent results. Its versatility extends to multiple applications, making it suitable for use in recycling operations as well as in construction and demolition projects. This adaptability not only enhances operational flexibility but also maximizes the return on investment for businesses.
When asked why they chose R700, Lavrinovic said: : „Our main condition was that the crusher must be compact since we need to transport it easily. The second, it must be easy to operate & produce enough throughput. The R700 checks all the points and it’s the right machine for us.”
It weighs only 22,8t (50,300lbs) with the screening system. The transport dimensions for such a machine are 14,10m (46’3”) in length, 2,52m (8’3”) wide and 3,10m (10’2”) high, which makes it extremely easy to move between job sites.
Maximum mobility with high performance
One of the defining features of the Rockster R700 is its compact size. In an industry where space constraints can often pose significant challenges, the R700’s design ensures it can be transported easily and maneuvered into tight spaces. This makes it an ideal choice for urban construction projects and remote locations where space and accessibility are limited. Despite its smaller footprint, the R700 does not compromise on performance, proving that powerful crushing capabilities can indeed come in small packages.
Large and accessible openings make the R700 very easy to service and maintain, which contributes to less downtime and more efficient workflow.
Efficiency
In the times where operational efficiency and cost management are critical, the Rockster R700 shines brightly. The robust construction of the crusher ensures long-term durability, minimizing the need for frequent repairs and replacements. These features collectively contribute to lower overall operating costs, making the R700 a cost-effective solution for companies looking to optimize their crushing operations or expand the business into contract crushing.
Maintenance is a crucial aspect of any machinery operation, and the R700 is designed to simplify this process. Aside from easy access to the engine compartment, which ensures that maintenance tasks can be carried out swiftly and efficiently to minimizing downtime, Rockster’s diesel-hydraulic concept is something that most of the machine operators are familiar with. This emphasis on ease of maintenance ensures that the R700 remains in optimal working condition, providing reliable performance throughout its lifecycle.
"Standard features” on another level
The R700 comes with an array of features that are a standard for Rockster crushers. Hydrostatic drive is at heart of Rockster’s crushing concept. It enables the engine to run at optimal range while individually adjusting the rotor rpm (0-850rpm) set to the crushing job. Overload protection is an automatic system that senses an overload at the inlet of the impactor, hence preventing possible damage.
Double-functional return- or stockpile belt brings back the oversize into the hopper or stacks it as a second end-product. Central control unit with a Radio remote control makes the operation of the crusher easy and intuitive.
"Aside from the crusher itself, we are very happy with the entire Rockster team. Florian Klenk, the Sales Director and Stefan Haag, Rockter After Sales visited us during the initial operation of the R700. Their immense help in training our machine operator is highly appreciated and we look forward to a long lasting partnership."
says Aleksandr Lavrinovic.
